Following are the answers to a few of the frequently asked questions:

Q: What type of fuel do the Crystal Cold refrigerators use?

A: They run strictly off of LP Gas (propane).  The domestic 8 cu ft refrigerator will run on LP or 115 vac.

Q: How much propane does a Crystal Cold propane refrigerator use? 

A: They will all use approximately 1/3 gallon of propane in 24 hours.

Q: Will you ship a propane refrigerator to me?

A:  Absolutely!  If we ship a refrigerator to you the first $100 of freight is included, you will be responsible for any additional freight charges.  **When you receive your refrigerator we strongly encourage you to open the unit and inspect it for damage BEFORE the drive leaves.  Otherwise, if there is damage and it is not reported before you sign the release form, no one can be held accountable for the damage and you will not be able to get any reimbursment.

Q: What if I want to pick up my refrigerator?  Are there any special preparations I need to make?

A:  Refrigerators can be transported lying on their side.  If transported this way it is recommended that you let them sit for 4 hours, occasionally rocking them from side to side.  This will free any air bubble’s that may have been trapped during transit, ensuring that your refrigerator will be keeping your food cold for years to come.

Q:  What kind of warranty do the propane refrigerators have?

A:  The cooling unit has a standard 3-year warranty, while the refrigerator itself has a 1-year warranty.
