Heat ExchangerIf you would prefer to use forced air rather than hot water to heat your home, this is possible by installing a water-to-air heat exchanger (see photo right) to use with your existing forced air system.

The heat exchanger resembles a radiator out of your car, however, the tubes are bigger so it transfers heat instead of cooling it like the one in your car. This heat exchanger will mount in the plenum of your existing furnace and the outdoor wood boiler will transfer the 180-degree water through it. Your existing fan in your furnace will blow through it and heat your home. Doing it this way allows you to keep your existing furnace as a backup whenever you are not burning the Central Boiler.
