Full-Time Service Technician/Customer Sales Representative

Employee must be HVAC Certified and capable of diagnosing heating and air conditioning problems and repairs. Experienced installer of fireplaces, free standing stoves, pellet stoves, wood stoves, hot tubs (optional), air conditioning systems, gas stove conversions, and gas line installations meeting local and state code. Must be code friendly and computer friendly with the ability to manage a high paced schedule, while meeting the demands of the company. Basic service tools and bag must be provided by the employee. Specialty tools will be provided by the company.


Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Top notch customer service skills
  • Computer friendly
  • Able to communicate and multitask with a high paced service and installation management team and others
  • Manage a service schedule by coordinating installations and repairs with customers and their schedules
  • Receive and process service calls over the phone and in person
  • Answer technical questions
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose
  • Maintaining vehicle inventory, maintenance and safety


Qualifications and Skills:

  • HVAC Certified- Minimum of 5-7 years of hands on in the field work
  • Fireplace/hearth (free standing stoves) installation- Minimum 5-7 years
  • Local and state code friendly (gas, venting, building, mechanical, electrical)
  • Clean driving record
  • Must complete/pass background and drug screening process.
  • Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License required

Hearth and Hot Tub Sales Manager

Employee will lead and supervising the Hearth and Hot Tub Sales Department.


Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Primary owner of the sales training, lead management, and new product information that is available from vendors.
  • Maintains interactive work relationships with all vendors.
  • Consistently grow knowledge base, on a year to year basis, of all products available from all vendors and suppliers and assure all sales personnel are up to date on current product knowledge.
  • Maintain showroom display and readiness. Responsibilities to include, but not limited to: appropriate product representation, customer flow, cleanliness of floor.
  • Have knowledge of competing companies and all competitive products they represent.
  • Drive growth and development in the department as a whole, and individually.
  • Organize, plan and perform employee goals, measurement of goals and annual evaluations
  • Hire and release department members as necessary
  • Direct proper team member positioning and scheduling
  • Organize meetings and specialized trainings
  • Process applications for employment and schedule interviews for candidates
  • Perform qualitative inventory purchase decisions
  • Manage inventory levels seasonally
  • Restructure inventory to keep turns hot
  • Maintain availability to help facilitate team members sales
  • Infect the team with positive energy and have fun!


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Previous experience with point of sale software preferred
  • Prior experience in Office Administration is a plus
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Bachelor’s degree; or 5 years of sales management related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Desire to grow and strengthen their leadership skills
  • Ability to work, communicate, and collaborate well with others
  • Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and logistics management
  • Servant’s heart with the ability to care for and empower their co-workers
